Responsibilities:

• Draft and review legal documents, such as purchase agreements, easements, covenants, and title reports.
• Stay up-to-date on current legal developments and legislation impacting the real estate industry.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including property managers, developers, and sales teams, to provide legal guidance and counsel.
• Manage legal risk by identifying and mitigating potential issues throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Conduct due diligence on property transactions and advise on potential legal exposures.
• Negotiate and resolve legal disputes, seeking favorable outcomes for the company.
• Maintain comprehensive legal records and documentation.
• Provide support to other departments on legal matters as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a real estate law firm or related environment.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal, skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in legal research databases and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
